Blinger

For this project, we had to design a cartoon character, then model and rigg them in Autodesk’s Maya. I made this blue dude named “Blinger”, and you can see some of the process right here:

Concept Art

So here is my T-pose drawing of Blinger here. I took inspiration from a few different characters for his design.

Skeleton/Rigging

Here I’ve fully rigged the model, even the eyes and fingers. Rigging allows for the animation of a character.

Model Complete

In this image I have completed the modeling process for Blinger. His goatee was the most difficult part to get right.

Render

Here is a final render of Blinger with basic lighting. You can see his chicken legs in all their glory.
