Here’s some art me & my friend Tess have created for the official Columbia Board Game Society Instagram. Art is in order by date beginning with our first post in early September:

I attend a student club here at my school called the Board Game Society (BGS). Most other student clubs at my school have official Instagram pages to notify students of club meeting times, special events, and more. The accounts are run by students who create graphics, post photos, and more. The Board Game Society has been around for more than 7 years but it didn’t have an official Instagram page until quite recently.
This is all thanks to me, as I wanted our club to have a wider reach and have an easier time notifying people of meeting times since our email newsletter was previously the only way to know and that’s not super accessible since you have to manually sign up instead of just looking up the account like all the other clubs.
I thought the graphics and posts on the other clubs Instagrams looked fun to make, so in August I decided to join the BGS student board to create and fill the role of Social Media Manager. I created the official Instagram account for our club and I put my graphic design skills to work making weekly posts for students to see. I even created a promotional video for the club using my motion graphics skills so make sure to check it out here:

I also have to give a huge credit to my friend Tess Peters, who is a Graphic Design major here at Columbia as she’s been a massive help to me in creating these posts. I always look forward to collaborate with her to see what cool stuff we can come up with 🙂
